Garden bed filled, fresh topsoil was delivered on Saturday. Ventured out to a couple nurseries today and picked up some plants to fill it with. Hopefully I can build another this week.

The baby has been saying “mama” but now she’s dropping “F”s. Only 7 months old, and she’s already started.

A very productive weekend. Built one raised garden bed, wanted to do two, but I mathed real good and only got enough lumber for one. Need to get dirt for it still though. Looking forward to having fresh veggies this summer.

Another grocery run today. I think the biggest thing I’m looking forward to is having normal grocery trips, coming home and just putting stuff the fuck away. This is so mentally draining right now.

Coffee and fountain pens. The best way to start the work day.

New month, new currently inked page. I feel like I need to ink up a few more pens.

First mountain bike ride of the season. This is the first time I’ve been out in 7 months. Took it easy, but it felt good! 🚵‍♂️

I’ve finished a 2nd bottle of fountain pen ink, so I’ve now successfully done the impossible twice. This was Pelikan Edelstein Topaz. 🖋

Muenster has been loving having me work from home. If he’s not in my lap, he’s in his cocoon bed right next to me.

Day 4 of working at home. I no longer want to be in my office after 5 PM. I log off the VPN, lock my computer and leave the office.

It is strange seeing family and pets when I leave my office for coffee, food, etc, but I have been pretty good about keeping everything separated.

My new home office setup. We’ve been told to work from home for the next couple of weeks at least. This has been an interesting couple of days to say the least. It will be weird working at home.

Picked up a few pints of Sip Hops Hooray from Good Nature Brewing this weekend. Really liked the can label so I decided to peal it off and stick it in my notebook. I think being able to buy label stickers would be pretty cool.

Incowrimo update, I managed to get 10 letters written during February. Better than I expected, but pretty far off from previous years.

New keyboard day for work. Ducky One 2 Mini Pure White with Kailh Box White switches. Big improvement over the Cooler Master Storm TKL with Cherry Reds I’ve been using.

Took Moose down to the local baseball field. It’s all fenced in so he can run to his heart’s content. We don’t do this often, but the sidewalks are all ice so this was much safer.

I must be doing something right if the baby can go from listening to Black Sabbath, to AC/DC, to In Flames and be happy and smiling.

I found out why Apple doesn’t replace keyboards in retina MacBook Pros. Because they designed it with rivets instead of screws.

Apple’s independent repair thing is a hot pile of shit. I repair 10-20 Apple devices a year locally, and would love to get OEM parts, but apparently I’d have to open a commercial business, and send Apple all my customer’s info, and not repair non-Apple devices.

The first big blizzard of 2020, 12-19 inches of snow is expected, with snowfall rates up to 2inches an hour. We already have around 10 inches of snow on the ground so far this morning.

Sometimes orange fountain pen inks will get spots of crusties on your nibs. Krishna Jungle Volcano is one of those inks. 🖋

Moose wants to be on the couch, but knows if he touches Captain, he’ll probably end up getting smashed in the face by an angry cat paw.

Moose causes quite the sight when he decides to flop over and roll around in the snow when we are out for a walk.
