Really interesting sci-fi story, this one had me hooked. Tchaikovsky has written another fantastic book.

Played April of Pandemic Legacy again last night. Managed to win this time, although yellow got pretty rough. Looking forward to playing May next time we get together. 🎲

Pulled the drawers out of my tool box and found 2 missing 9mm sockets!

Dad brought his drone over and we were able to get an aerial of the creek and wash out behind the garage.

It happened again. Another bottle of ink emptied. Vintage Montblanc Black this time. 🖋

Over 3 inches of rain in the past 48 hours. The creek behind our house is high, and we lost some backyard. It’s getting pretty close to the garage.

I’m only a month and a half late, but I finally picked up some of the Star Wars stamps.

Stopped at a bike shop yesterday, and asked about ordering a new bike. I’ve been eyeballing a Trek Fuel 8 for a bit now and asked about it. If I ordered now, it should be here by January. Of 2023. 🚵‍♂️

Very tempted to order an SSD upgrade for my 2017 27in iMac, and replace the 128GB SSD half of the fusion drive.

Remember when SSDs made boot up times disappear? You could press the power button and 3 seconds later be ready to work. Then Bitlocker happened and now boot up times are slower than pre-SSD days.

Monterey may get me to update my iMac from Mojave.

First family hike in the Adirondacks. We had perfect weather for it, and the little one did great. Climbed Bald Mtn in Old Forge.

I’ve had my Steelcase Gesture for about 3 weeks now. After a bit of an adjustment period, I couldn’t slouch or sit like a blob anymore, it has been super comfy. Very happy with my purchase, and I should never need to buy another office chair in my life.

Finished our first batch of jam for the season. Rhubarb orange jam, it tasted delicious out of the pot, can’t wait to use it.

Gardens have been planted. Hoping to find some zucchini and spinach for the two empty spaces.

The nightmares you find when replacing an outlet that doesn’t hold in the plug. Yes a melted outlet and lamp wire. So many discoveries in the 5 years we’ve owned this house, it’s a wonder it didn’t burn to the ground years ago.
